While I understand that some people are aware and others are not aware that DFW DHH now has a new host, Andra Speer. I have come across a few people who have been concerned about the changes in DHH and as your new host, I will try my best to listen to everyone’s feedback. My goal is to find new venues that DHH has not hosted at before rather than same locations. If anyone has any issues or concerns, please feel free to talk to me about it. Hey ya all, i m not sure if ya all know this. I have been with dhhdfw off and on since 2001,
i was starting up from 2001 and then helped around with pictures and website. till 2008 i finally got chance to be president and to help all deaf peeps to have good time., as of now, I had decided to retired from dhhdfw due to my personal reason and conflict of interest. I still love all dhhdfw deafies peep supports. I will never forget them. I m doing my best to keep up with fort worth city hall to make sure we deaf have our right to have cops to use sign langagues. or to get interputer right away. We need to stand up for our rights!
If anyone in dallas want to know how to get in city hall to complain or anything let me know and i will try to find a correct person to get to u and let texas see our strong stand with deaf rights.

C’mon anyone we gotta to put our foot down. and fight for our deaf rights.

as of now. I have passed my duty to Grand Laird Jr. He will be taking care of dhhdfw and he will probably be looking for new dhhdfw host.

Dont be afraid Dhhdfw is not going to shut down. We will still keep it running and still going and still going.

I want to thank you for your supports. and it time for me to go on my own path and for my future to help all deafies.

Hello all,
I am wanting to say “Thank you” to all of deaf peoples for supporting DHHDFW after all of these years.
I really do appericate it. I will be hosting last Event for March 28th in Dallas. Then I will pass down my duty to someone that i will announce on march 28th that evening. I know all of you are concerned of why I am resigning from DHHDFW as President and Host. I have worked so hard to keep dhhdfw going alive, I have been with DHHDFW since 2001. It time for me to go and to move on with my personal life and to get to where I need for my personal reasons. Once again, Thank you and I will bid my last farewell on march 28th as President of DHHDFW. I want to give lot of thanks to DHHDFW Committee for their help, I know it will be disappointing but we have to move on and do best as we can. I hope to see ya all around sometime dow the road. Thank you to all of you deafies and the Committee. Now the March 28th 2009 DHHDFW’s Event will be at Black Finn in dallas

Hello Everyone,

First of all, I want to say that Novemeber 2008 event was successful, but I apoloize for the lack of photographer! I tried to be the best photographer but things and people got the best of me that night, so if you have any pictures that you would like to be on the DHHDFW website, please e-mail me.. I am more happy to add these on the website!

Secondly, I want to say thank you to the DHHDFW committee, Dallas Deaf Club, and the people WHO made efforts to show up at events to social and meet new people.. the support is SO OVERWHELM and I am proud of everybody and everything that have make DHHDFW successful. So I decided not to host New Year Eve party, nor the usual forth saturday in Decemeber since holiday is overlapping on the weekend, and my committee have childrens and family to spend time with. Sorry for disappointment you, HOWEVER I promise the BEST and better year for DHHDFW next year!

The committee: Henry Dyer, JC, Zach Rietz and I wish you a HAPPY THANKSGIVING and may your holiday be merry and bright!

Sports City Cafe is a bar and grill, and its a wonderful place to get together for those folks who are BIGGEST, HARDCORE sports fan! They have lots of big TVs of different kinds of sports that are in season to watch, pool/darts, music, and wonderful food in case if you’re dying for fried pickles or juicy BBQ Western Burger! The bar do not have any dress code, just come to the event as who you are, or wear your favorite sport jersey and root on them!

For this event, I am pleased to let you know that on Saturday, October 25, 2008, We will be allowed free entry before 9:30pm. The Club General Manager, Jeff Carley, has agreed to extend the “No Cover” from 9:00pm, to 9:30pm, for Dhhdfw group. After 9:30pm, the admission fee will be $7.00 per person, so please make sure to arrive before then. The Club’s doors open at 8:00pm. Please advise the Dress code as posted. They do have free parking garage behind the City Street, and There is some meter by curb that are free on weekend. Valet parking is provided too but you are responsible to give tip.

Updates on DHHDFW:
There is chance we will still host Dhhdfw event on November 22nd before week of thanksgiving. and we will have new year event instead of 4th of Saturday in December.
